When should you book a moving lift? Preparing your schedule

The official calculator displays a minimum notice of three working days. This does not guarantee a free time slot: have LOCA - LIFT confirm the date. Prepare parking arrangements as well; municipal requirements depend on the address and may require separate advance planning.

The date entered in the calculator expresses your request. Wait for provider confirmation before organising helpers or a delivery around that slot. Suitable equipment needs to be available and the access must allow setup. A calculated quote or sent request should not be read as automatic appointment confirmation.

Allow for parking arrangements too

The calculator’s notice and the timing of a municipal application are separate matters. Ask the municipality about permits or reservations for the exact address. Agree who handles them and when the space must be clear. Do not assume that a deadline you know from another area applies to this property.

Coordinate items, people and access

Prepare item and opening dimensions, the people needed for loading and receiving, and access to both levels. If a delivery depends on another carrier, clarify timings before assuming the two appointments will fit together. Uncertainty is easier to discuss before the day of the intervention than after equipment arrives.

If the date is close or your plans change

For a short-notice request, call the team rather than assuming availability. Only the provider can confirm whether it is possible. If plans change, consult the contractual conditions and contact the team promptly. This guide promises neither guaranteed emergency service nor a single cancellation deadline for every offer.
